Absolutely love Amanda and the Waggy Travels team – including their puppy squad. I was so pleasantly shocked when she came to our first training session, and along with her came Snowman to help our Tux to work on his reactivity. Such a big difference to our reactive and anxious puppy in such a short time, if I didn’t know better I would say it’s magic. I’ve had dogs my whole life, worked with different trainers and breeds of dogs, and despite that I have learned so much. When Waggy Travels was recommended to me (we had just finished two rounds of puppy school and made no progress), I was told they take on the hardest of the hard cases, and I can see that now. They go above and beyond, and the price is fantastic value for everything you get in return. Absolute legends, don’t hesitate to reach out to them!

Waggy Travels is SO brilliant, I highly recommend both the training and adventure walk services. After a tough start to life, my sweet foster dog Sherlock was struggling to settle into our home, and Amanda's training taught him how to positively manage his big feelings. The difference in his behaviour has been truly incredible, and he's really thriving. The support and communication throughout the entire process has been 10/10 and I'm so grateful for all of the progress he's made with his reactivity, socialisation, crate training, loose lead walking, stranger danger, and more!

I’ve had such a positive experience working with Amanda. From the very first session, Amanda has been incredibly supportive, knowledgeable, and patient with both me and my dog Luka. The structured socialisation sessions have helped Luka become more confident around other dogs, and Amanda’s tailored advice has made a noticeable difference in how we train and interact. What stood out most was Amanda’s genuine care and commitment to our progress. She took the time to explain not just the how, but also the why behind each technique. I left feeling more confident and empowered, and Luka has responded well to the strategies we’ve been practicing.

“I worked with Amanda for 4 months with one of Maggies Rescue’s trickier foster pups. She was the reason why Dorito went from being unadoptable to now finding his forever home. She saw and used methods that no-one else would have thought of and was extremely intelligent with all aspects of dog psychology. Dorito struggled with resource guarding, becoming extremely serious at some points. With in-depth written training guides, video calls, consistent check ins and a few weeks stay with Amanda, he was able to overcome this and was eventually able to leave a raw steak in front of him and make eye contact before given the release command to eat it. I highly recommend Waggys Travel to anybody needing help to train their furry baby, I’m pretty convinced anything is possible with her!”

Amanda assisted us with taking our two litter mates on adventure walks and training walks over a one week period while we were on holidays to help our relative (and us) be able to walk them together on a lead and reduce reactivity to other people and dogs. The difference Amanda made in a week is honestly so impressive. She was worth every dollar. She approached our girls with understanding and no judgement and truly turned it around for us. We are so grateful for finding Waggy travels and will continue to use and recommend their services.

“Amanda has been a godsend!. I’ve recently adopted Raven and struggled to find a trainer to help settle Raven into her new home.. I’ve encountered other trainers before and their militant style has adversely impacted raven’s confidence. Amanda was amazing at interpreting the situation and has completely changed Raven aggressive and reactive behaviour into a more friendly and easy going dogs whilst on walks. Amanda is the real dog whisper! You won’t be disappointed..”

“Amanda was our silver lining! One of the hardest things I have ever done is to re-home a furbaby. Devastating is an understatement. Amanda entered our fams life with a training period and right from the start I knew she was gold. Amanda is so passionate about quality and whatever is best for your pooch. She extended her experience and knowledge to assist with rehoming. If it wasn’t for her who knows what could have happened. Through the ENTIRE process she was communicative, honest, supportive and persistent. To know that your pooch has been offered a life it so much deserves is the best thing ever. I will always be eternally grateful to Amanda as are my doggies. You’re the best!”

“Amanda has a strong compassionate nature and is so talented with any dog she comes in contact with. Amanda worked with our foster boy who was very reactive and severe separation anxiety, the difference she makes to every dog is truly amazing. Anyone having any behavioural issues give her a go you won’t be disappointed!”

"I highly recommend Amanda’s help with troubled dogs. She assisted us with an adoption of Daisy, a 1yr old Beagle American Bulldog mix, who came with a handful of issues but also had to fit in with our 5yr old Bull Terrier Rocky. Amanda gave us great tools to work on her separation anxiety, toilet & crate training as well as how to help her adjust to living & playing with Rocky. We’re so grateful as our lives would be chaos without these fundamentals, and Daisy is so much happier now she’s settled"

“We have fairly extensive experience with Waggy Travels as they have been helping with our foster Mia, and the whole experience has been great. Amanda is fairly direct which is good, nothing gets lost in translation and they do train the owners as much as the dogs 😀. Amanda has been incredibly supportive getting us where we need to be and answering every (sometimes dumb) questions. They also have the best helpers in Ozzy and Snowman! I would not hesitate to recommend them if you need help socialising with your pups.”

"Amanda is an amazing dog trainer! My princess Lily she's 55kg of greyhound x Bullarab. She didn't like other dogs, she couldn’t walk on a lead without pulling and had no recall when i rescued her from the pound. Now she playing with other dogs, walking without pulling and able to go on adventures off lead with Amanda's pack of amazing dog. I feel relaxed now when i walk her and I love watching her make friends with new dogs and cats. Thanks Waggy travels and thank you Amanda. You are an amazing person and dog trainer.

"We are so grateful for Amanda’s gentle care of our mad-but-well-intentioned Ziggy. She has been a great support to us after we adopted him and has been so generous in her advice and recommendations- which have all been incredibly effective! But most of all, knowing Ziggy is in Amanda’s care when we’ve been away, and her beautiful updates, have been so reassuring and comforting. Amanda is incredibly reliable, trustworthy and a brilliant minder. We are very lucky to have found her."

"When we adopted Bailey, I really needed to understand his anxieties and help him to settle. Amanda has a brilliant way of connecting with him AND with me so Bailey and I can work together. She has amazing knowledge and is calm and caring in every move she makes. Dogs just seem to trust her! Using her training suggestions is helping Bailey (and me) relax and to reduce his reactivity to other dogs. I am really looking forward to our next training session. I don’t know how I would cope with her help. Thank you so much Amanda! "
